Cross-organisation capacity requests

Overview

A project owner organisation (POO) can request capacity from another organisation in the same legal entity (same root). The requested organisation accepts or rejects. Requires PERSON_CAPACITY_ENABLED=true and CAPACITY_REQUESTS_ENABLED=true.

Where to create a request

Project-centric (primary entry point):

1. Open a project.
2. Go to Capacity demand (Project → Capacity demand).
3. On the Capacity demand page, find the section Capacity requests (cross-org).
4. Click New capacity request.
5. Select the requested organisation (same root, different from POO), fill in task × month person-months, and submit.

Where to view and respond

Organisation-centric:

1. Go to Organisations (Settings → Organisations, or People → filter by organisation).
2. Open an organisation.
3. Go to Capacity requests (or Incoming / Sent).
4. Incoming — Pending requests for this organisation to respond; click a request to accept or reject.
5. Sent — Requests this organisation sent as POO.

Include descendant organisations: Use the link Include requests for child organisations to expand the view to this organisation and all its descendant organisations. Incoming requests will show requests addressed to any organisation in the branch; sent requests will show requests sent by any organisation in the branch. Toggle back with Show only this organisation.

Organisation capacity requests: incoming and sent requests for capacity.

Capacity requests sent: requests this organisation has sent to others.

Organisation capacity request detail: view or respond to a specific request.
